Today we would like to share with you some information about the Sarteano Jazz & Blues at its 28th edition.
Each year the small medieval village of Sarteano, 7 km far from Chianciano Terme, hosts some of the most important Jazz and Blues Italian and international artists like Paolo Fresu, Nicky Nicolai and Stefano Di Battista.
The opening day of this year edition, Fryday the 18th of August, will see the performance of SARAH JANE MORRIS, (from 9,30 p.m. in San Lorenzo square), followed Saturday the 19th of August by MATTHEW SHIPP New York quartet, at his single Italian show. (always from 9,30 p.m. in San Lorenzo square).
Sunday the 20th of August FORRÓ MIÓR will close this year edition with their captivating Brasilian rhythms (from 9,30 p.m. in XXIV Giugno Square).

Fryday and Saturday afternoons from 6,30 p.m. performances of the marching bands along the village streets. Funky vibes for Franco Baggiani and his Sound Street Band and balkan rhitms with Zastava "Zingheri di Maremma".
