In occasion of Rosalino Cellamare, also known as Ron, live concert of Saturday the 4th of March 2017 in Chianciano Terme, we would like to tell you some curious facts about him!

- His first appearance at the famous Sanremo Festival was at only 17 years old;
- His stage name Ron derives from his best friend Lucio Dalla;
- He is the author of Lucio Dalla’s songs “Piazza Grande” and “Attenti al Lupo”;
- In the 1986 movie “Speriamo che sia femmina” directed by Mario Monicelli, the two young protagonists run away from home to attend a Ron’s Concert;
- He won the 46th edition of Sanremo Festival

THE VIA FRANCIGENA

Trivia and special events for children

The Via Francigena, known also as Via Romae, is a network of ancient roman roads running from France to Rome.
The first documents attesting the existence of Via Francigena date back the 9th century describing a section of this road in the countryside around Chiusi in the Siena province; while in the 10th century the famous bishop Sigerico described the pilgrimage he made to Rome to meet the Pope and back to Canterbury.
The Via Francigena, similar to the Santiago Path in Spain, has been now reconsidered and many academics, pilgrims or simple tourists have brought to light this ancient path after
